Guest postI recently met some friends, Deb and Dave from ThePlanetD for lunch at Siam Paragon, who were in Bangkok for a few days before heading down to Phuket to shed some holiday season pounds with two weeks of Muay Thai training. They kindly agreed to write a review of the hotel they were staying at in Bangkok, and I proudly present it to you below.

When flying into a new country, things can be a little overwhelming.   Exhausted from the flight our fuzzy brains need to figure out where to catch a taxi, how much will it cost to drive to our destination, what is the currency exchange rate and how much money should we take out of the ATM to last us for a few days.

The last thing we feel like doing when landing at the airport is having to worry about where we are going to stay.  That is why when we arrived in Bangkok we had a hotel already booked.  In the past we simply had our cab driver drop us off in the area that we wanted to stay and walk around aimlessly looking for accommodation.  This time we planned ahead.
