Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Photo Tour

I recently posted a review of the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, and as is often the case whenever I post a review of a hotel, one of the hardest decisions to make is which of the many photos I have taken of the hotel to include in the review and which ones to leave out. Normally, my hotel reviews run about 1000 words, as I try to provide as much useful information as possible, but if, as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, then today I present to you 16000 of them in my photo tour of the  Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit hotel in Bangkok.

Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok Review

The Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel in Bangkok is one of my favorite hotels in Thailand. The location is excellent, the hotel itself is beautiful, modern and classy, it features a nice large pool, and the rooms are well appointed and nicely furnished.

Arrival

When you first arrive at the Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel, most probably by taxi, you are swept up the driveway (after the security detail checks the trunk and under your car for bombs (!) ), to be greeted by two large elephants which are the symbol of the nearby Erawan shrine.

Woodlands Suites Serviced Residences Pattaya

It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of serviced apartments, with executive serviced apartments a particular favorite. I’m also no big fan of Pattaya but as I still haven’t gotten to some of the reported nicer beaches and close islands I’m not going to give up on it yet.

Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya

Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya

The Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya provides a 4 star rock star experience right near the heart of Pattaya! Very different to traditional Thai hotels, the modern and chic Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya offers 320 rock themed guest rooms and suites, many of which have great sea views.

This hotel makes the perfect place for families and friends who are young at heart, and have a penchant for rock music! The Hard Rock Café is of course right on site and here you can enjoy nightly live music while dining on some great food. There are 6 restaurants and bars in total though, so you don’t have to abuse your ear drums every night that you stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya!

By day you can enjoy the huge freeform swimming pool and beach, or head across the street and spend a day on the real beach! There’s also a fitness center and spa at the hotel, and when you want to enjoy the sights and sounds of Pattaya the city center and Walking Street are only an 8 minute walk.

Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa

The pool at night at Pattaya Marriott

The 5 star Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa is a peaceful oasis in the center of this noisy, hedonistic city and will appeal to many different guests, from couples to families to business travelers, due to its great range of facilities and services and its excellent central location.
